Better Study Habits
When you're a student, the most crucial part to success is studying. Studying helps us prepare for quizes and tests that are a big majority of the class grade, particularly in college. There are many ways to helps improve tests grades by studying. One way to study is to find a friend that is willing to sit down with you and you teach him or her everything that is going to be on the test. When you teach others, you sometimes find that you are teaching yourself. Another way to study is to simply make flash cards, perhaps color coded, and quiz yourself. Some people are very good with matching colors with facts. Another way is to simply just rewrite your notes. Rewriting your notes is sometimes the best way to memorize the material. Find something that works for you and I can guarantee that test grades will improve.
God's Corner
Revelation 1:1-6 talks about those who read his word will prosper in the end. The time is near for Jesus Christ's return. We must be prepared by reading His word and practice what is told to us through it. When we read God's word, we become more aware of what God wants for us. We also can prepare ourselves to reach to other people when we read because reading the word helps us become better witnesses. We become more aware of our actions. We start to live in the steps of Jesus Christ. When we do this as Christians, we are witnessing to people without even knowing so. Eternity is forever whether one spends it in hell or heaven so as Christians we need to start picking up the slack and live better for us and others who don't know about the greatest gift there is, the gift of Jesus Christ.

How To Think Of A Topic When Blogging
When you are stuck on thinking of ideas for writing your blog, try to create a topic about something you like to do or perhaps talk about a topic that you feel strong about. For example; I like to write personification poems as you can tell. So I just put my self in an every day item's place and begin to write my feelings from that objects standpoint. I also love baseball, so that is something that I could blog all day about. It's all about what you like. So have fun and express your feelings when writing your blogs.
My Poem Corner III
This poem is one that I just came up with by looking at my friends chapstick.
So I'm sure you can guess what this poem is called.
Chapstick
----------
My purpose is to smoothen lips
Broken, split, crusty lips
I intend to satisfy one pair
But my intentions are never controllable
I meet my owners peers
As if my owners lips were bad enough
To encounter the unknown
Every day is uncomforting
I'm a slave without a say so
A stick that swirls on a spirl
Without manipulation
Is quite an aggravation
And when its my time to go
That one last use of me
I will never forget how unloyal
My owner was
I was made for him only
So I'm sure you can guess what this poem is called.

My Poem Corner II
If you read my previous blog about My Poem Corner, then you know that I like to use personification in my poems. So this is one that I just came up with called "Dollar Bills". I Hope you like it.
Dollar Bills
-----------
You recognize our faces,
(Washington, Lincoln, Hamilton, Jackson, Grant, Franklin)
But not our feelings.
You don't know our pasts.
Where we have been.
What we have been used for.
All we are to you is a value that brings a smile to your face.
We've seen drug deals, church offerings, casinos...
The list goes on.
We're yours, we're his, we're forgotten.

My First College Baseball Experience
This weekend was my first college baseball experience. I play for North Greenville University, an NCAA Division II school located in Tigerville, SC. This weekend, we traveled to Due West, SC to face the 23rd NCAA division II ranked team in the nation. When I got off the bus and stepped foot onto the field, I had a feeling that I never felt before. I was excited, even though I didn't get to play, just to be on an actual college field and being part of an actual college team. The field was in excellent condition and the grass was so soft. The fan base was bigger than what I have experienced in the past and the pace of the game was so much faster. Even though we took three losses and I didn't play, the experience was one worth remembering just because it was something I have never taken part in. I look forward to keep taking part in something I love and it will definitely be something I'll always remember.
